PRODUCT FEATURES

  • It is Clodinafop Propargyl 15%WP
  • Rubah is a selective and post–emergent herbicide
  • Rubah belongs to Aryloxyphenoxy propionate group of herbicides
  • It has systemic action
  • Its half-life period in the soil is only a few days so there is no effect on the succeeding crops
  • Rubah has good compatibility with other pesticides

MODE OF ACTION

  • Rubah is an Acetyl CoA Carboxylase (ACCase) Inhibitor
  • It is absorbed by the leaves and stem of the weed plants
  • It is rapidly translocated within the plants and accumulate in the growing parts/meristematic tissues.
  • It stops the synthesis of fatty acids/lipids in the plant essential for the growth, thereby the growth of the weed is stopped within 48 hours
  • Yellowing of leaves starts within 7-14 days followed by browning and dry-up
  • The complete result can be shown 14-21 days after application

METHOD & TIME OF APPLICATION

  • Rubah is recommended as post emergence herbicide i.e. 30-35 days after sowing of wheat or when grassy weeds are of 3-4 leaf stage
  • Only Flat Fan /Flood Jet nozzle should be used for application
  • Proper water volume should be used (at least 375-400L of water/hectare)
  • Weed should be in proper stage (3-4 Leaf Stage)

SAFETY INSTRUCTION & ANTIDOTE

  • Do not spray during Foggy climate and in early morning
  • There must be proper moisture in the field
  • Wear safety equipment’s such as gloves, aprons, masks, etc.
  • Choose the correct nozzle for spray
  • Spray in the direction of wind
  • Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying
  • Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin
  • Avoid inhalation the spray mist, fog and vapors
  • Take bath properly after application
  • Antidote – No specific antidote
