PRODUCT FEATURES

MODE OF ACTION
- SHAPAT is absorbed by the leaves and roots, translocated to the growing points of weed
- SHAPAT inhibits the enzyme acetyl CoA carboxylase (ACC-ase) and interferes with the production of fatty acids
- It also destroys cell membrane thus makes cell content leak
- It stops the synthesis of fatty acids/lipids in the plant essential for the growth, thereby the Yellowing followed by browning and dry-up of weed
METHOD & TIME OF APPLICATION
- It can be used as foliar spray by using Knapsack Sprayers fitted with Flat Fan or Flood Jet Type of Nozzle
- Add recommended quantity of Shapat Solution into a bucket half-filled with water and mixed well
- Add remaining recommended water and spray
- Spray uniformly over the entire field without overlapping
- Time of Application – 15-25 days after sowing when weeds are in 2-4 leaf stage
SAFETY INSTRUCTION AND ANTIDOTE
- Do not spray during Foggy climate
- There must be proper soil moisture during the spray
- Apply right dose at right window
- Wear safety equipment’s such as gloves, aprons, masks, etc.
- Use Knapsack Sprayers fitted with Flat Fan or Flood Jet Type of Nozzle
- Spray in the direction of wind
- Avoid drift of spray into adjoining crop field
- Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying
- Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin
