PRODUCT FEATURES
- Parizine is a broad spectrum and selective herbicide.
- It is a systemic herbicide kills weeds by inhibiting the photosynthesis and enzymatic activity.
- It is a pre and post-emergence herbicide for the control of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds in Sugarcane and Maize.
- It contains wettable powder of atrazine 50%.
- It belongs to the Chloro-Triazine group of chemical.
- It is rapidly absorbed by leaves and roots of treated plants.
- It is translocated acropetally in the xylem and accumulate into the growing points.
- It is compatible with other commonly used chemicals.
MODE OF ACTION
- It is selective and systemic herbicide of Chloro-Triazine group. It works by inhibiting photosynthesis by binding with the DI protein site at photosystem II. It also inhibits the enzymatic activity in the targeted weeds. Lack of the photosynthesis results the death of treated plants.
METHOD & TIME OF APPLICATION
- It can be used both as pre-emergence and post emergence herbicide up to 2-3 leaf stage of weeds.
- Take small amount of water and add required quantity of Parizine andstir the solution well with a stick or rod. Add this solution with the remaining quantity of recommended water and spray.
SAFETY INSTRUCTION AND ANTIDOTE
- Uniform spray should be advisable.
- Do not spray during foggy climate.
- Do not mix with bare hands.
- Always spray using hood, to avoid drift on main crop.
- Ensure sufficient soil moisture at the time of spraying.
- Wear safety equipment’s such as gloves, aprons, masks, etc.
- Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying.
- Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin.
- Take bath properly after application.
- Antidote – No specific antidote is known. Treat symptomatically.
