MODE OF ACTION
- NAGARA works by interfering with the transmission of stimuli in the insect nervous system. Specifically, it causes blockage in nicotinergic neuronal pathway
- This blockage of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors leads to the accumulation of acetylcholine, an important neurotransmitter, resulting in the paralysis and eventual death of the insect pests
METHOD & TIME OF APPLICATION
- First spray is recommended at appearance of pest infestation and subsequent 2-3 sprays at weekly interval depends on severity of pest
- Nagara can be applied as a foliar spray as well as can also be used for Soil application and seed treatment.
- Take a small quantity of water in a container and dissolve required quantity of NAGARA in it. Stir this solution properly and mix it with the remaining quantity of water
SAFETY INSTRUCTION AND ANTIDOTE
- Uniform spray should be advisable
- Do not spray during foggy climate
- Do not spray against the wind direction
- Do not mix with bare hands
- Wear safety equipment’s such as gloves, aprons, masks, etc.
- Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying
- Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin
- Take bath properly after application
